Instructions on involuntary rebooking and refunds

If you want to change to a more suitable flight, you can do so within 48 hours after receiving the notification. If there is no suitable flight, passengers may request a refund, which applies to tickets purchased on Vietnam Airlines' website/app and whose departure time is adjusted 4 hours earlier/later than scheduled.

Instructions on Self Re-accommodation

Step 1: Passengers click on the attached link in the notification sent by Vietnam Airlines via text message or email address provided when purchasing tickets.

Step 2: In the "Select new flight" window, passengers can confirm the proposed flight or switch to another more suitable flight by pressing "Select this flight".

Step 3: In the "Review booking" window, review the new flight's booking information and passenger information before clicking "Continue".

Step 4: The system will confirm the change to a new flight while keeping the booking code unchanged.

Instructions on ticket refund

Step 1: Click on the attached link in the notification sent by Vietnam Airlines via text message or email address provided when purchasing tickets.

Step 2: If a suitable flight cannot be found and your ticket fulfills certain particular conditions, you can request a refund by clicking the "Refund" button in the "Select new flight" window.

Step 3: In the "Refund" window, review the flight information, passenger information, refund amount, and refund method before clicking "Confirm refund". Vietnam Airlines will refund your card issuing bank within 7 business days. The time it takes to receive a refund in your account is determined by the card-issuing bank's policies.

Notes: If passengers have purchased ancillary or special services, Vietnam Airlines will process and notify them later about the refund.
