Eligibility for involuntary rebook

In case flight time changes, Vietnam Airlines will send notification along with a link to passengers via text message or phone numbers registered when purchasing tickets. If passengers want to change to another flight, please click on the link and change to the preferred flight within 48 hours of receiving the notification (involuntary rebook). Passengers can modify flights once for each time Vietnam Airlines changes flight time.

To involuntarily rebook, please note the following conditions:

• Applicable to cases where Vietnam Airlines changes flight time;
• Applicable to ticket number 738 for flights with flight numbers VN (excluding flights numbers from 2000 to 4999) departing during off-peak periods;
• Applicable to tickets with purchase of additional services or some special services free of charge;
• For domestic flights, domestic flights connecting to international flights, international flights connecting to domestic flights, passengers can rebook within 30 days until 6 hours before the old flight's departure time;
• For international flights, passengers need to rebook at least 6 hours before the old flight's departure time;
• The passengers who have checked in for the flight but not yet checked in for baggage.

Note:

• In case there is no suitable flights, passengers can request a refund if the ticket is purchased on the Vietnam Airlines website/app and the departure time is adjusted 4 hours earlier/later than expected.
