Seat Cancellation Conditions

What is seat cancellation?

Seat cancellation refers to canceling one or more flight segments in the passenger’s itinerary while still keeping the ticket for later use.

If you are unable to take the flight you originally booked, please Change your ticket or Refund your ticket at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time shown on your ticket to avoid the No-show fee.

Please note that seat cancellation is not the same as ticket changing or ticket refunding.

The No-show fee applies to passengers who do not take the flight and do not change or refund their ticket at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time shown on the ticket.

Ancillary services purchased with the ticket cannot be changed or refunded.

For ticket types that do not allow changes/refunds, after canceling the seat, you will not be able to use the ticket for changing/refunding. Please refer to the fare conditions here .

If your itinerary includes PVI travel insurance, please contact PVI Insurance via email bh.support@pvi.com.vn to request changes/refunds of your insurance documents. Changes/refunds will comply with the conditions of the purchased insurance plan.

 

Guide to Rebooking/Refunding

 

After canceling the seat, you must rebook a new flight or request a refund at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time shown on the ticket to avoid the No-show fee.

To rebook or refund your ticket, you may send a booking request to the email address online support@vietnamairlines.com within the ticket validity period.
